Good to know
Pages are moved, not redrawn, so quality, text and links are unchanged.
Many sheet-fed scanners and copiers take paper from the top of the stack face up, which produces a PDF in reverse order. Reversing it here is quicker than rescanning.
Fixing double-sided scans
If you scanned the fronts of a stack and then the backs, the backs usually come out in reverse. Split off the backs with Split PDF, reverse them here, then use Organize PDF to drag each back after its front, or merge the two files and order the thumbnails.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. PDF1 runs the whole job inside your browser tab with JavaScript and WebAssembly. The page has no upload endpoint, and its security policy blocks connections to other servers, so the file stays on your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded.
Can I reverse only some pages?
Use Organize PDF, which lets you drag pages into any order. Reversing here always flips the whole document, apart from the cover if you tick that option.
Does it rotate pages too?
No, only the order changes. If pages are also upside down, use Rotate PDF afterwards.
